Refund Policy
Last updated: 16 May 2026
Today (Beta)
Pickle is 100% free during the Beta cohort (first 200 sign-ups). There is nothing to refund. If you don't like it, just remove the MCP config block from your assistant — no card to cancel, no account to delete.
When Pro launches — the refund window
When Pro tiers go live (after Beta closes), here's the refund stance:
- 14-day no-questions-asked refund on first-time monthly subscriptions. Email [email protected] within 14 days of your first Pro charge, and I'll refund in full. No survey, no retention pitch.
- Annual plans: 30-day no-questions-asked refund window from the date of first annual purchase. After 30 days, prorated refunds for the unused months are at my discretion, case by case.
- Recurring renewals (month 2 onwards): not refundable by default. Cancel before the next billing date and you won't be charged again. If a renewal happens because you forgot to cancel and you reach out within 7 days of the charge, I'll usually refund it — but that's a goodwill call, not a guarantee.
- Pro features I removed or broke: if a feature you bought into stops working and isn't restored in a reasonable window, I'll refund the affected period.
What's never refundable
- Usage on which actions were taken in your workspace (your team already used the audit briefs — the value was delivered)
- Subscriptions older than 14 days without a defect
- Any future one-time add-ons (custom integrations, founder consulting calls) once delivered
Beta cohort lock-in
If you're in the Beta 200, you're grandfathered into the lowest price I'll ever charge when Pro launches. That grandfathered rate is not the same as a refund — it's a discount that applies if you choose to upgrade. You can also stay on Free indefinitely (some limits may apply) or stop using Pickle. No hidden auto-charge.
How to request a refund (once Pro is live)
- Email [email protected] from the address you used to sign up
- Include the email subject "Refund request — <your email>"
- Mention which plan + when you paid. (I can look it up but it speeds things up.)
- I'll respond within 2 business days. If approved, the refund goes back to the original payment method within 5-10 business days depending on your bank.
Disputes
If you're unhappy with a refund decision, reply to the email and we'll talk it through. If we can't agree, the Terms of Service governing-law clause applies (India / Kolkata jurisdiction). I prefer to settle these directly — chargebacks before talking to me first usually end with both of us losing.
Changes to this policy
If I change refund rules, I'll update the "Last updated" date and email everyone on the signup list at least 14 days before the change. Refunds for purchases made before the change will follow the policy that was live at the time of purchase.
